Welcome to Alwis Express. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and delivery services. By placing an order or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and to comply with all applicable policies.

1. Use of the Website

You agree not to use the website for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms and to take legal action if necessary.

2. Orders and Acceptance

All orders placed through the website are subject to availability and confirmation.

Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. However, the order will only be marked as confirmed upon successful payment verification.

We reserve the right to refuse any order, with notice, due to product unavailability or delivery limitations.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices listed are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

Accepted payment methods include cash on delivery, credit/debit cards, and bank transfer.

Orders are considered confirmed only upon successful payment or verification of cash-on-delivery.

4. Delivery Policy

We currently deliver to selected areas, including Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala, and Wellawatte, with plans to expand in the future. If you're located outside these areas but within Colombo, feel free to contact us to check delivery availability.

Deliveries are available 7 days a week, including public holidays, subject to delivery slot availability.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Alwis Express is not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Failure to answer phone calls from customer end
  • Inability to contact you during delivery

5. Return and Refund Policy

For safety and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for consumable items such as LP gas cylinders and bottled drinking water once they have been delivered and paid for.

Customers are advised to inspect items at the time of delivery. Any issues must be reported immediately or within one hour by contacting alwisexpress@gmail.com.

Refunds or replacements will only be issued if the items are proven to be damaged or incorrect at the time of delivery.

6. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Alwis Express website — including logos, text, images, and software — is the property of Alwis Express and may not be used, copied, or distributed without prior written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
